Built for Extreme Power Handling

To handle high power levels, the XTRPRO124D uses a UV-coated reinforced paper cone. Moreover, it includes a durable Santoprene surround. Together, these components control cone movement and help maintain accurate bass response.

At its core, the subwoofer uses a 3-inch aluminum-wound voice coil on a Kapton former. As a result, it manages heat more effectively during heavy use. In addition, dual flat Conex spiders with loop-stitched tinsel leads keep the moving parts stable during extreme excursion.

A 176 oz ferrite magnet motor structure provides strong control and efficiency. Therefore, bass stays deep and powerful at higher output levels. The proprietary cast aluminum frame also adds rigidity and improves airflow for cooling.
