Neo3.9:
Comparable to the Team3 series. High motor force and plenty of attack. Great for SPL or high pressure applications. 2500W+. Standard 4 spider but can be made with 5 or 6 if needed for SPL specific applications. Works great in high pressure ported or 6th order applications. 12″, 15″, and 18″ sizes.

All NEO 3.X Series

New cooling and inductance features that are set up in stages. The first stage is a machined aluminum pole sleeve. This provides better heat wicking and is the first portion of inductance linearizing and reduction. The second stage is a combination of the pole sleeve and an aluminum domed compression cap. This increases the compression ratio for cooling as well as adds some outstroke inductance reduction. The third stage utilizes the pole sleeve, the compression cap, and a thick aluminum finned extrusion that again lowers and linearizes inductance as well as aids in thermal dissipation. With the third stage we have reduced inductance by almost a factor of 3 over utilizing none of the aluminum.

All leads are stitched in the same pattern and use the bolted terminal block as the original hybrid design. But we have added push terminals that use this same setup with the ability to handle much larger wire and completely removing the multiple solder and crimp points that could introduce unwanted resistance.

All Neo3.X subs use the high Xmax dual 1 Ohm and dual 2 Ohm coils for 34mm of one way Xmax.

Lightweight and incredibly powerful, the Compact Neo V.3 is the perfect combination of musicality and sheer, unrelenting motor force. Using Sundown’s patented platform, the Compact features an extended pole piece with a thick shorting ring, plus a custom cross-cut pole piece with a Neodymium cap for increased output and thermal control. The solid, high-velocity pole piece uses CNC cross-cut channel cooling, a series of 16 direct air-gap vents in the back plate to keep the motor even cooler, and a vented top plate/gap.

Design
Our philosophy with The Bass Blaster was to recreate the feel of car audio from our youth. The blue surround is not just our branding color, it is an homage to woofers of the 1990s that used brightly colored surrounds as a signature look. The balance of the blue to the grey/silver basket and cone harkens back to the early 2000s when some of our favorite woofer models sported a distinct style. The aluminum dust cap gives depth and texture to the woofer as a whole and adds rigid reinforcement to the cone body. The genesis of the design was the motor itself, the large vent for the four-inch coil caught our eye in car audio shops in the 1990s. Jacob Fuller captured that look while tapering the vent and adding a pole cap so as to not compromise modern cooling techniques for the best performance-to-aesthetics ratio possible. Topped off with the metal mesh over the magnet slugs, The Bass Blaster is the 90s/2000s woofer we all wish we had in our teens, but even better that we have it in our 40s.
